Driven by demand in Chinese and other markets,especially ship plate and boiler plate demands adding from end customers,such as boiler & pressure vessel manufacturers and shipyards.Brazil’s ore exports in 2010 will exceed the 2008 record high of 281.6 million tons, a new record .
According to the Brazilian Development, Industry and Foreign Trade Ministry statistics, iron ore exports between January and September was 22,385 tons, an increase of 15.2%. Preliminary statistics in October show that 30.18 million tons of iron ore exports from Brazil, an increase of 17.8%, growth of 10.4% this year, total export volume reached 254 million tons.
Santander Bank predicts that the remaining two months of this year, Brazil will remain strong shipments of iron ore, Brazilian iron ore exports throughout the year will exceed 300 million tons.And these iron ore would mainly be usd to steel mills in China,and roll the steel plate,especially boiler plate and ship plate.
