Weathering steel plate SMA400AP,SMA400BP,SMA400CP under JIS G3114 steel specification standard is mainly used to build outdoor sculptures,briges and other large steel structural applications.The letter symbol P denotes that the steel plate of SMA400AP,SMA400BP and SMA400CP are usually used after coated.The elements effective for the atmospheric corrosion resistance, such as Mo,Nb,Ti,V and Zr may be added to these three steel grade SMA400AP SMA400BP SMA400CP of plates, provided that the total content of these elements does not exceed 0.15%.All these three weatheing steel grades owned minimum yield strength at 245 Mpa for the plate thickenss equal or belows 16mm,for the thickness above 16mm,this value would be a little lower,and tensile strenght for SMA400AP,SMA400BP and SMA400CP shall be within 400 to 540 Mpa.
