International Online reports,South Korean steel giant POSCO plans to build hot galvanized plate for car used
production line in China.
Reported that POSCO said on that day, POSCO plans to build a hot galvanized plate production line with annual
capacity of 450 thousands tons in the second quarter of next year located at Shunde City, Guangdong Province
in China.This project has been already approved by Chinese government last month. Now it plans to break ground
in the second quarter of next year, which shall be completed in 2012, officially put into operation in 2013.
POSCO officials said, China's auto demand is rapidly increasing,vehicle production in Guangdong Province in
2009 over 1.1 million. No large_scale iron and steel companies near and in the northern of Guangdong Province,
therefore, POSCO decided to establish a factory in Shunde.
