The series of thermomechanically-rolled fine-grain structural steels S355M and S355ML,by good weldability and high resistance to brittle cracking. They are mainly used above all for highly stressed welded structures in the construction of bridges and steel structures.

Delivery condition and Mill test certificate:For the signature M in S355M and S355ML,which is short for Thermomechanically rolled.It is not the same as Normalized and lower.For guarantee the quality and steel property,the mill shall do the inspection tests before delivery steel materials and issue the original Mill test certificates which indicates the chemical composition,tensile strength and yield strength values for the sample and products.This type shall be according to EN10204 3.1 version.Also can provide the type EN10204 3.2 if purchasers need the third party inspections,such as SGS,ABS,TUV and others.

Weldiing:The fine-grain structural steel grades S355M and S355ML of this series can be perfectly welded both manually and using automatic equipment by means of all known welding processes, not least due to their reduced carbon content and the low carbon equivalent value.In general, pre-heating prior to welding is not necessary due to the low tendency to cold-cracking.
