Pressure vessel steel plate and sheet A517 Grade H and A517 Grade P is under the standard ASTM A517/A517M.This specification includes other steel grades such as A517 Grade A,A517 Grade B,A517 Grade E,A517 Grade F,A517 Grade Q,A517 Grade S,all these high yield steel grades have the same mechnical properties and general characteristics.In addition to the basic requirements of pressure vessel steel plate and sheet A517 Grade H and A517 Grade P,certain supplementary requirements are available when additional control,testing,or examination is required to meet our customers' requirements.
These additional technial terms for boiler steel plate and sheet A517 Grade H and A517 Grade P include:I.Vacuum treatment,II.Additional or special tension testing,III.Low temperature impacting test,IV.Nondestructive examination.When manufacturing,steelmaking for steel sheet A517 Grade H and A517 Grade P,it shall be killed and shall conform to the fine austenitic grain size requirement of Specification A 20/A 20M.
